Learn How: Beginning Urban Homesteading

This session features seven stations spread throughout the farm showcasing different areas of homesteading to explore. Each area will have a presenation every 30 minutes. Topics include: Aquaponics, Chickens, Bees, Fruit Tree Care, Mushrooms, Composting, and Planting Methods.

Garlic Fest
Saturday, July 13th
Learn how to grow, harvest and cook your own garlic! Along with educational sessions on the benefits of garlic, you can participate in the Garlic Pull, cleaning and storing garlic, and replanting garlic beds. There will be a garlic eating contect and a chance to win garlic-inspired raffle baskets. Everyone will go home with their own heads of garlic.
