Introduction to Yoga

This class is designed for beginners who are brand new to the practice of yoga. You”ll learn the foundational basics to start and keep building upon those skills as you grow during each session. You’ll experience not only the physical benefits, but also connect the mind and body throughout the series leading to an increase in overall wellness. Classes taught by certified yoga instructor and wellness coach, Shannon Ortiz. Yoga mat included in cost of the course.

Cost: Canton Residents $40 | Nonresidents $50

Whether you’re wanting to jump start a healthy lifestyle or maintaining your current fitness goals, this class is for you! No equipment needed. You’ll be energized with high intensity interval training (HIIT), body weight exercises, and cardio. Beginner classes are recommended for individuals with minimal exercise background.

Session 1: April 2 – April 27 | Session 2: June 4 – June 29

Tuesday: Cardio/Legs

Time: Tues. and Thurs.: Beginners 5:30 PM & Advanced 6:45 PM

Thursday: Upper Body/Abs

Time: Tues. and Thurs.: Beginners 5:30 PM & Advanced 6:45 PM

Saturday: HIIT/Full Body

Time: Beginner 8:30 | Advanced 9:15

Cost: Resident $55 | Nonresident $65
