Learn How: Gardening Jubliee

Saturday, April 6th

This class offers a beginner and intermediate track for gardeners to cover a variety of topics.

Beginner: Container Gardening, How to Get Started, Composting Basics, Mushroom Log Growing, Gardening Planning and Design

Intermediate: Mushroom Cultivation with Straw, Companion Planting, Bugs, Diseases and How to Combat Them, No-Tilling Gardening Techniques, Pollinator Habitat Creation

Learn How: Beginning Urban Homesteading

Saturday, June 15th

This session features seven stations spread throughout the farm showcasing different areas of homesteading to explore. Each area will have a presenation every 30 minutes. Topics include: Aquaponics, Chickens, Bees, Fruit Tree Care, Mushrooms, Composting, and Planting Methods.

Garlic Fest

Saturday, July 13th

Learn how to grow, harvest and cook your own garlic! Along with educational sessions on the benefits of garlic, you can participate in the Garlic Pull, cleaning and storing garlic, and replanting garlic beds. There will be a garlic eating contect and a chance to win garlic-inspired raffle baskets. Everyone will go home with their own heads of garlic.
